United Transport and Logistics Company – Eurasian Rail Alliance JSC (UTLC ERA JSC) is a joint project 3 EAEU railway administrations: Russian Railways, Belarusian Railway and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. UTLC ERA provides regular container block train logistics services on the routes from China to Europe and vice versa over the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus as a part of regular service from China to Europe.

Cargo volume transported in 2021 increased by 26.6% compared to 2020 and amounted to 692.5 thousand TEU dispatched by over 6 750 trains. About 5,8% of total EU – China trade in 2021 was delivered via UTLC ERA service.

Railway is one of the most environmentally friendly transport, in addition, UTLC ERA is an environmentally responsible company and implement different projects within the #keenongreen initiative. One of the company's joint eco-projects with WWF, was the return of Tugai deer to the floodplain forests of Kazakhstan. Another environmental project is ERAI Index which has a CO2 calculator tool developed by UTLC ERA, which provides the data collection on carbon monoxide emissions during transportation by rail and compares this emission with other modes of transportation.

CO2 emission by UTLC ERA during 2021 was circa 46.2 thousand tons, comparing to the automobile transportation with similar parameters the emission would account for 4,114 thousand tons, while by air transportation – 24,406 thousand tons.

UTLC ERA JSC was registered on April 2nd, 2018, by restructuring United Transport and Logistics Company JSC (UTLC JSC), that was founded on 13 November 2014. UTLC ERA is UTLC’s legal successor in operating transit container services.

“UTLC ERA”股份公司2021年全年CO2排放约为4.62万吨。相比较而言,公路运输的CO2排放量为411.4万吨,空运排放量为2440.6万吨。
